Akoya Pearl 3" Hexagon is a white glass mosaic tile sold by the box with per-square-foot pricing. Light passes into the tile and reflects back, giving glass installations a depth and brilliance opaque materials cannot match. Zero water absorption makes it fully pool-rated, and the same quality keeps backsplashes and shower walls easy to keep bright.

White fields read larger than they measure, reflecting light deep into a room. It takes both warm schemes, with oak and linen, and cool ones, with chrome and charcoal, without fighting either. The hexagon geometry adds pattern without print, reading vintage in white and modern in bolder tones. As a mosaic, the joint pattern is part of the design; grout color choice changes the whole read of the sheet.

Glass tile is kiln-formed from silica, often with recycled content, and is completely non-porous with zero water absorption. Color is fused into or behind the glass, so it does not fade, stain, or react to pool chemicals, which makes glass a standard for pools, spas, and backsplashes.
