Savoy Tile

Savoy is a brown glass mosaic tile offered in Picket Pattern, Interlocking Pattern and 2 by 6 Subway formats. Light passes into the tile and reflects back, giving glass installations a depth and brilliance opaque materials cannot match. Zero water absorption makes it fully pool-rated, and the same quality keeps backsplashes and shower walls easy to keep bright.

Deep browns pair with cream, rust, and olive for a grounded scheme, or with pale gray for quiet contrast. The picket profile is a fresh update on subway lines, adding a gentle point to the pattern. As a mosaic, the joint pattern is part of the design; grout color choice changes the whole read of the sheet.

Glass tile is kiln-formed from silica, often with recycled content, and is completely non-porous with zero water absorption. Color is fused into or behind the glass, so it does not fade, stain, or react to pool chemicals, which makes glass a standard for pools, spas, and backsplashes. Glass tile never needs sealing. Clean with any non-abrasive glass or pH-neutral cleaner and a soft cloth; avoid scouring pads, which can scratch the face. Grout joints still benefit from sealing. Installation matters more than maintenance: use a bright white thinset rated for glass, spread with full coverage so no voids telegraph through the transparent body, and follow the manufacturer's cure times before grouting. In pools, verify the setting materials are rated for submerged use.
